Case of the Mondays

Monday Morning

Anyone else feel this way? I woke up late today, and when I woke up, I promptly wished I could go back to sleep. It is cold, windy and overcast, and really, who wants to be awake and actually productive in weather like this? 

No one. The answer is no one. 

Today I am dreaming of a warmer climate... perhaps one that is European in nature. The Attic spent part of the summer in Italy a few years ago, and I would love to return. Lush Italian vineyards totally beat cold weather Mondays. 

Doesn't that sound heavenly right about now? 

Currently, I am (not in Italy) drinking coffee and headed off to a series of meetings. Yay Monday. 

But before I go, I have to at least mention the Grammys. I prefer not to watch award shows in their entirety (I do not have the attention span... unless of course, I was wearing a stunning dress and accepting the award myself. In that case, count me in.) but I do adore looking at the dresses afterward. 

Whose dress was your favorite? My favorite was Taylor Swift's. She might not have won any awards, but she looked classy and glamorous- a combination that is always a win in my book. 

And Royals won song of the year! I totally support that. It's interesting, catchy, well-written and well produced. And she has a great voice. If you need some pep in your step, go ahead, plug in your head phones and listen. We won't judge if you sing along. 

Go out and conquer Monday, Brave Ones! You can do it.
