I Like it When Girls Stop by in the Summer...

Summer Days, Driftin' Away.... 

... while I sit here at my desk. 

Does anyone else wish for those summer days? (Except you who are teachers... I am not jealous of you from August - May, but come June... your job sounds pretty nice.) 

But I can't complain too much, because I love my job and I still get to have some summer fun on the evenings and weekends. 

I am, however, so sad to be missing out on sister time at the beach! Look at Jay- isn't he the cutest beach baby ever? 

This week, Alli is visiting Lindsey in Florida, while I am stuck land-locked. But they are sending me pictures and videos to help me get over my sadness of missing out on sister time! Here is a sweet video of Jay and Elli. They are the cutest. 

Family time is the best. I enjoy cooking, dancing, even running more when I am with them! And not only am I missing out on beach time with the sisters, I am also missing sister runs. Sadness. 

Gosh. I miss Lindsey and Jay. And already miss Eleanore and I got to see her a week ago! It's amazing how your nieces and nephews can steal your heart. But look at her! She is so cute in her little swimsuit and sun hat. Who wouldn't love her? 

I would also like a sun hat, but maybe one that looks a little more like this. 

 I might just buy myself one. J.Crew is selling them right now and I love the natural and the navy one! 

In 59 days, I will be on the beach with my man! I don't think that weekend can get here fast enough. And every girl needs a nice beach hat. It just makes you feel a little bit glamorous. 

What are your summer essentials? In addition to a beach hat, I also need some serious sunscreen for my face! My nose gets red super fast, and then I end up looking like rudolf. Not the look I'm going for.
