Happy January!

Phewf. We survived the wonderful madness that is the holidays. But just before we could get settled back into our to-lists and schedules, something amazing happened!

January 8, 2013 Eleanore Lynn Ashman was born. A perfect, 8 lb. angel.

Needless to say, we are all already smitten. She a peaceful baby and a delight to hold. Work has suddenly become less thrilling because I am counting the hours until I get to see her again. Alli is a mother! How amazing. She is already a fantastic mother. Lindsey, the oldest sister, is in town with her son- my 2 year old nephew Jay. You can plan on some posts about the joys (and laughable, teachable moments) of motherhood coming up!

Until then, Happy January. You survived the holidays. Time to settle in, break in your new Christmas shoes, and take it one day at a time.

Ps. Here's some quick pics of New Years- my best friend and I both wore black and white j.crew blouses... what can I say? Great minds think alike.
