How to Follow our Blog

I read this quote on another wonderful blog, La Dolce Vita, and loved it. It's just good to be reminded sometimes that success takes hard work and does not usually come quickly.

Starting this blog has been an adventure, but blogging definitely takes more effort than just jotting down your thoughts every day! It will probably take time to build The Attic up to where we'd like it to be. 

We would love for this blog to be a place where we can share our ideas and goals we each other and with you. We would also love to use this blog to share bits of beauty, because really, we'd like to make everything around us beautiful- something we get from our Creator, and also, our mother. She has a knack for that.

We would also like this little corner of the world to be a welcoming place of conversation. We love discussing ideas- both the whimsical and the soul-stirring. 

So, if you are reading this, thank you for joining our little corner of the blogsphere! We'd love to hear from you. Comments and feedback are great, because they let us know what you'd like to talk more about. And if you enjoy reading our posts occasionally, then why not follow the blog? 

It's really simple. You can follow by email by filling in your email address in the blank on the side of the blog. (It looks like this.) 

Once you do that, a confirmation email will be sent to your account. Click the subscribe link that Feedburner sends you, and you're good to go!  

Another easy option for following our blog, is to click the bloglovin button! Now, we are not very technologically savvy, and let us tell you, Bloglovin is incredibly simple. Just click the button on the side of the blog. (It looks like this.) 

Then create a user name for yourself, then click the link in the email Bloglovin will send you, and... VOILA'! Quick and simple- just the way all technology things should be. (in our opinion anyway.) 

And, if there is a post that you really enjoyed, you can always share it, so other people can enjoy it too! At the bottom of each post, there is a "share" button. (which looks like this.) 

Click the button, and you will see a variety of sharing options- even Pinterest! 

But, if you don't want to be overwhelmed by all of those options, there are easy Facebook and Twitter buttons on the side of the blog as well. 

And there you have it. If you would like to join the Fisher sister's attic clubhouse, we are accepting new members. :) 

Ha. When Alli and I were younger, we so badly wanted to join our boy cousins' club, that we were willing to pay a high price. In order to be initiated, we had to split an earthworm in half, and then eat our halves. Aaaand, we did it. Gross. Me. Out. But hey, it was worth it in order to be apart of their bike riding and tree climbing club!

Don't worry. There is no initiation process to be apart of this club! Phewf.
