Emerald Green- Color of the Year

Happy Spring Lovelies!

It's my favorite time of the year- Spring! Birds are chirping, flowers, are blooming... I even love the rain. (provided I am wearing my rain boots.) Springtime also means that everything is turning GREEN, my favorite color. And because it's my favorite color, green and blush pink are going to be my wedding colors! Here is a sneak peak at our centerpieces: 

Isn't it lovely? I am so excited that I can barely stand waiting. Only 117 more days! 

Luckily, I have plenty to occupy my time... between work and wedding planning, I pretty much have my hands full. And speaking of work... I am slowly starting to decorate my office. I brought a cute throw blanket for my love seat, and a few desk decorations. On my desk, I have a lovely pen box, (Cinderella themed- designed my fabulous cousin Jeni) a to-do list notepad, (from anthropologie. I love their paper goods.) and a little green leather notebook for jotting down ideas. 

I love my office so far, but there are a few more things I want to buy- a little vase (maybe like this one!) for some fresh flowers, a few books, and a candle. 

It also may be time for me to spruce up my spring wardrobe... I'm thinking a new swimsuit and a new dress. I LOVE this Rena Lange green dress worn by Alexis Bedel at the 2013 SAG awards. 

Although, since I don't have any award shows coming up, I might go with a more casual maxi dress. 

Noticing the green theme going on? Clearly my favorite. And I'm not the only one... Emerald green is supposed to be the color of the year!
